New Biology Question!
What type of molecule serves the following functions in the body: maintaining brain health, controlling inflammation, and building fat molecules? Fatty acids. Glycerol. Glycogen. Phospholipid.
What is the most likely answer? I'm stuck between phospholipids and fatty acids.
I'm pretty sure it's fatty acids
That's what I thought, but someone put phospholipids, soo I'm confused now
i don't think phospholipids maintain brain health, unless they mean they provide barriers for foreign/harmful molecules
Yes, that should be right! Thanks for your help! :)
Can you help me with another one?
Which of the following correctly shows the reactants and products of photosynthesis? Carbon dioxide + water + energy → oxygen + glucose Oxygen + energy → water + glucose + carbon dioxide + heat Oxygen + water + energy → carbon dioxide + glucose Carbon dioxide + oxygen + water + energy → glucose + heat I think it's the last one, but I'm not sure...
in photosynthesis CO2 is consumed and O2 produced.. so look for that in the equation
Yes...but I don't get which one it is.
look at the equations, which one has CO2 in the reactant and O2 in the products lol
Does plants release energy?
in photosynthesis energy is consumed to make glucose
So does it release oxygen water and energy?
it uses water..
Never mind, i got it! Can you help me with this one? I think it's the last one. Hilary arrived home from school one afternoon and decided she needed a snack. Which of the following would be the best choice if she is trying to pick the most sustainable snack option? Some canned pineapple from Hawaii since it was efficiently processed A bowl of ice cream since it has a very high calorie content An orange from the tree in her yard since it did not have to be transported Two hard boiled eggs from her own chickens since they were locally raised
