I did the homework and the online work but can't seem to get Python IDLE working, help!?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

what point are you stuck at? can you open the idle window?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I had to work through some issues with IDLE myself. Which 'platform' are you using? Mac, Windows, or Linux? For Linux I changed distribution (to Fedora 17) so that the version of IDLE and Python matched that used in the course. For Windows I was able to locate a suitable version (2.6.8) from the IDLE for Windows site.

OS? Python Version installed?

There's a problem with Ubuntu 12.04 and Python 2.6.x If thats what affects you try http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/502ee916e4b0e46adced0063
