Given the polar equation (r^2)cos(2(theta))=1 how would you convert it into a Cartesian equation?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

x = r*cos(theta) y = r*sin(theta) Go! Of course, you may need to remember your Double Angle Formulas from your last Trigonometry class. For cos(2*theta) there are three versions. Just pick one.
