HIYA! Can anyone explain to me how to solve this? PLEASE AND THANK YA! :) 7) A 200 kg polar bear is sliding down a water slide accelerating at 4 m/s2. a. What is the Fnet acting on the polar bear? b. What is the Fg,x acting on the polar bear? c. What Ff is acting on the polar bear?

OpenStudy (amriju):

f net=4*200=800n.....whats Fg,x..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gravity in the x direction

OpenStudy (amriju):

force of gravity in x direction...?...0 ofcrse.... and force of friction....will be 200*(g-4) do check the answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay! youre really good at this! :)

OpenStudy (amriju):

thnks....but did u get it...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesnt tell me if its the correct answer or not but when i solved it, i got the same answers!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im just a little iffy about fgx but i think its just 0

OpenStudy (amriju):

hey...remember vectors...? a vector can't have a resolved part in a direction perpendicular to it....?...its jst dat...g acts in y direction...it cant have a part of it in x direction..meaning perp dircn...so accn=0...force=0...sorry for late reply...an idiot called me...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

loll nahh its okay! hahah oh yeah!! dudee. you should just take my test for me :P lol
