3) A book is being pushed along a table at constant velocity. c. How does the Fpush compare to the Ff? Please and thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what Ff??? that is F friction right??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if V is constant velocity , so acceleration is zero . Bact to 2nd Newton's Law.., sigma Fex= ma., for a = 0; sigmaFex = m a sigmaFex = m. 0 sigmaFex = 0 where sigmaFex = Fpush - Ff So Fpush - Ff = 0 Fpush = Ff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why Ff is negative sign?? caused by Ff opposite direction with a Fpush

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!

ur welcome natasha ^^
