Did I do this right? I have to find the lateral area of a right rectangular prism (diagram in the comments). What I did was this; A=2h(L+W) A=2(3)(6+4) A=6(10) A=60

the lateral area is the area of the 4 sides (leave out the top and bottom) the area of one side is Length*height. 3*6=18 is one side. the side opposite is the same, so 36 for the 2 long sides. the shorter side is 3*4=12. together with its opposite side 24. add together: 36+24= 60 so your formula works.
