Haven't studied this in 3 years, but I'll give it a go... In Japanese Bushido there is at least a peasant class, a warrior class (samurai) and noble class... the peasants feed the samurai and the samurai protect the peasant and nobles. The nobles pay the samurai with land. Japanese Bushido is based on honor... European chivalry is nearly the exact same concept, only instead of being called samorai, they are called nites. That is the best I can answer presently.
