derive sqrt(sqrt(t+1)+1)

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

Do you mean differentiate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f'(x)

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

You should learn the proper jargon for derivatives, but nonetheless.... y = sqrt(sqrt(t+1)+1) = ((t+1)^1/2 + 1)^1/2

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

From here its just the power rule and the chain rule. y = ((t+1)^1/2 + 1)^1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 1/2((t+1)^1/2 +1 )^(-1/2) x 1/2(t+1)^(-1/2) is this correct?

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

yes, looks good to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, I lost my connection. Just to tell you thank you very much.
