OpenStudy (aripotta):

._.

OpenStudy (aripotta):

i put 7...is it actually 14?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

no wait, it couldn't be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This one is tougher than you're seeing...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now you're seeing, I bet :)

OpenStudy (aripotta):

AD is 7, i know that because i did the math, i just didn't do the math for DB

OpenStudy (aripotta):

le sigh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First you have to find CD...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AD is 7, right... but DB isn't 7. you can do a^2 + b^2 = c^2 for the left half triangle to get the height. Then use that and 13 to get the other part of the base.

OpenStudy (aripotta):

ok, CD is 12.12, yes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's what I get

OpenStudy (aripotta):

alright, so DB is 4.7?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

which would make AB 11.7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Looks good to me... :)

OpenStudy (aripotta):

yay :)

OpenStudy (aripotta):

thanks guys

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You worked this one yourself, but I'm always happy to help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (aripotta):

yes, thank you :D
