What are the solutions of the system?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=x^2+4x-5 y=2x-2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you should put variables on the same side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the y=2x-2 dont go all togethr i meant to space them apart

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. (–3, –8) and (1, 0) B. (–3, –8) and (–1, –4) C. (–3, 0) and (1, –8) D. no solution i thought d?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since the 2x is positive you subtract it from the side it on and the -5y is negative you add it off ik it sounds weird but its true and then you end up with 5y - y= x^2 4x - 2x =2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simplify it now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i think so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the one im thinking lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol
