what is the place value of the first zero? 07.6502
Replace the 0 with 1 to go from 07 to 17 Then replace the 7 with 0 to get 10 So because this number is 10 (ten), the first zero is in the tens place
Are you talking about the zero after the decimal or before? If it's after, it is in the thousands place. If it is before the decimal it is in the (ten)'s place.
Before
Okay thanks!
The question was actually Identify the place value of the zero that is not needed in the number but i changed it would your answer be correct?
yes because 07 is the same as 7
Okay thank so much!
np
you still there?
yes, what's up?
That was the wrong answer :(
this site is acting very strange
messages are out of order...
didn't work? if it's not the tens place, then it has to be the thousandths place
the thousands place was a choice
then the answer is that if the tens place doesn't work
okay thanks again
sure thing, not sure why the tens place didn't work since the first zero (reading from left to right) is in 07...which is definitely in the tens place
