How do you graph the equation y=5x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The line will be ascending from left to right (quadrant III to quadrant I), passing through (0,0). The given eq. Y=5x means that there in no "b" or Y intersept....see, Y=5x+....., so "b" = 0. We do have a slope......5, really its 5/1, that is for every unit of "x", there is a rise on the y axis of 5. So we are given one data point-----(1,5). Now we need 2 more points. Lets go back to an X Y table. X Y If we let x=1, will =5 1 5 If x=0, y=0 0 0 If x=2, y=10 2 10 now you have 3 points to plot and graph.
