Trigonometry: How to evaluate function values? I'm given sin, 30 degrees, and I know that that is pi/6. But how do I find the function value?

sin is the y value... you wanna look at the y value of 30 degrees.

look at the unit circle on the second to last page of the attached cheat sheet find 30 degrees. the second coordinate is sine
