Maybe a silly question, but are we supposed to turn in completed exercises (ie, homework) somewhere...?
OpenStudy is a place where many groups meet, so it depends. If you’re from a #MOOC-E group (as I am), then no, you don’t have to send your homework anywhere. You even can’t, because there is no central authority checking it. If you want to discuss your homework, it’s the best to use your MOOC-E group’s mailing list, the IRC channel on irc://irc.freenode.net/#pythonmooc or discuss it here. If you discuss it here on OpenStudy, please take care not to post any final answers of the homework, as others are here who have to send in theirs (and in any case it would be a breach of the policy of OpenStudy).
Its all peer review. You can get people here to look at your code if you are having a problem or would like someone to critique it. If in a study group, can also get the them as well.
I had the same question as ejosowitz. What is a MOOC-E group? I am not sure what MOOC group I am in! I thought there was just one course called the Mechanical MOOC?
