The base angle formed by the ladder is 60 degrees. If the ladder extends to a length of 166 inches, what is the height of the house rounded to the nearest hundredth of an inch? do you recall that sine = opposite/hypotenuse?

notice how the angle 60 is opposite the unknown side, so we can say sin(60) = x/166 and x = 166*sin(60)
