A car travels in a straight line for 4.7 h at a constant speed of 62 km/h . What is its acceleration? Answer in units of m/s^2

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

hint: what is the acceleration of an object in *constant* speed?

OpenStudy (goformit100):

i know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

acceleration is speed times time but u have to convert all down to the proper system of measuring i.e. metres and seconds

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i would convert 62km/h to m/s^2?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

??? no

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

if you multiply speed and time you get distance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then what do i do?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

like i said...google the acceleration of constant speed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yah do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did, i have no idea what it means though

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

you have no idea what it means? what do you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be zero?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):
