Okay draw a graph. Plane's velocity will be in negative x direction. Similarly the wind velocity will be in the 4th quadrant withh 45 degrees with x axis. Now using simple vector calculations break the wind velocity vector into 2 - one in the negative y direction other in positive x direction. Calculate x and y components of the final fig. And finallly perform vector summation using squaring and adding the x and y components and then rooting
