According to Machiavelli's "The Prince" do we use the term Machivellian correctly ?

Sometimes. To the extent "machiavellian" means "coldly calculating," we use it pretty correctly, but to the extent we use it to mean "secretly plotting" we do not. Machiavelli advocated coldly rational calculation of how to hold and use power effectively as a prince, but I don't think he advocated any kind of sneaky craftiness.
