you want to solve it, or check the solutions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we can rewrite the second equation \[-4x-4y=28\] by dividing by \(-4\) and get \[x+y=-7\] or \(y=-x-7\) then use that to solve in the first equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3y=4x+7\] \[3(-x-7)=4x+7\] \[-3x-21=4x+7\] \[-28=7x\] \[x=-4\] so now we have \(x=-4\) i guess we are done since you only have one option

must be \((-4,-3)\)
