In decimal, the difference between upper case ASCII and lower case ASCII is 32. Change the bit in the "32's" position (bit 6 in an 8-bit sequence). For example, Upper case 'A' is 0x41 (0100 0001) and lower case 'a' is 0x61 (0110 0001) "flip" bit position 6 |________________________________________________ to make An 'A" into a 'a'
