hi, so i have a problem for homework that i need help with: 3x+5-x=x+5 by the way i'm 13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ill do the next step for you: 2x+5=x+5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bananas with bananas and apples with apples. By this I mean that all the x's stay together and the numbers without an x stay together. For example, if you add 1 + 1 it's 2 right? Well x+x is 2x. It's the same thing but only with letters.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at the end you should have your x's first and your numbers after. EXAMPLE: 4x + 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um i dont get it.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is 2x+2x?
