Well depending on the amount of info it can range from 4- 6 paragraphs
the first an intro, setting the scene basically for what ur about to do
A thesis is always good.
Then the next 3-4 paragraphs involve ur research, common themes, topics you've decided to argue or defend.
The last paragraph should include a brief restatement of what you were trying to prove or say. 
The most important parts are a strong intro, and clean cut topic paragraphs.
