Which ordered pair is NOT a solution of the inequality 3x - 2y ≥ 12? A.(-1, -7) B.(-3, -10.5) C.(0, -6) D.(2, -3)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Simply plug in each point and check them like so Checking (2,-3) 3x - 2y ≥ 12 3(2) - 2(-3) ≥ 12 6 + 6 ≥ 12 12 ≥ 12 which is TRUE So (2,-3) is a solution...which means we can rule out choice D

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Do the same for each choice until you find a non-solution

SO IS it a?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
