I believe its C- The Mughal Empire was in absolute chaos. The Hindus and the Muslim Mughals detested and distrusted each other severely. It shows in the Sepoy Rebellion where although the Indians successfully rebelled and nearly drove the British out, political disunity prevented them from succeeding.
