You are given the treasure map and the riddle below. A young man traveled from the mighty pine, down along the river to the old coal mine. An old man traveled from the broken tree, up across the river to the great tepee. A treasure can be found where the two paths cross, under a big stone covered with moss. The young man’s path is given by −4x + 11y = 550 (1) The old man’s path is given by 13x + 11y = 2420 Find the value of y.
