An old man traveled from the broken tree, up across the river to the great tepee. A treasure can be found where the two paths cross, under a big stone covered with moss. The young man’s path is given by −4x + 11y = 550 (1) The old man’s path is given by 13x + 11y = 2420 Find the value of y.
