A print shop charges $50 for the first 100 booklets printed plus $0.20 for each additional booklet. If John paid $71, how many booklets did he have printed?

50+0.20(c)=71 then subtract 50 which gives you 0.20(c)= 21 then divide .20 from 21 which gives you 105.and then add the 100 for the first 50 dollars so total is 105+100= 205
