OpenStudy (aripotta):

What is the measure of Angle F?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the sum of all the angles equal to?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

idk do i use 180(n - 1)? or something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

180°(n - 2), yeah.

OpenStudy (aripotta):

i thought that was just for regular polygons though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It works for all. An explanation is here if you're curious: http://www.mathsteacher.com.au/year8/ch10_geomcons/02_internal/anglesum.htm

OpenStudy (aripotta):

hmm i see...thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So: \[ 180^\circ (6-2) = A + B+C+D+E+F \] And you solve for \(x\).

OpenStudy (aripotta):

so 134 + 128 + 10x - 4 + 10x - 4 + 5x + 8 + 5x + 8 = 180(6 - 2)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep. :) Once you get \( x \), just substitute it back in \( 10x-4 \) to find the answer.

OpenStudy (aripotta):

270 + 30x = 720 30x = 450 x = 15?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

10(15) - 4 = 150 - 4 = 146?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

is that right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. :)
