kn+4f=9v for n
i dont know how to do this at all
yeah you do... let's get this... "Solve for n" means to get n all alone. It's like a bad birthday present with too much tape and wrapping paper... you gotta unwrap the equation to get "n" out of the mess it's in.
okay i'm ready lets go
kn+4f=9v First, let's move everything on the left that's not "attached" to the "n" term out of the way... there's a "4f" in the way... let's move it... we need to subtract "4f" from both sides: kn + 4f - 4f = 9v - 4f then simplify: kn = 9v - 4f
so would it be kn=5fv
you can't subtract 9v - 4f to get 5vf... The "v" and "f" are different... that would be like trying to subtract "9 sandwiches minus 4 footballs" to try to get some sort of 5 sandwich-footballs... it doesn't make sense. 9v - 4f is fine... just leave it alone like that for the moment.
okay
But football-sandwiches aside :) You're close when you get to kn = 9v - 4f The only stuff still wrapping up your "n" term is that "k" in front of it. So "k multiplied by n" is the problem... we need to divide both sides by "k" to get rid of that "k". kn = 9v - 4f kn/k = (9v-4f) / k so n = (9v-4f)/k
and thats the answer
i have one more problem
Is this making sense? I'm fine to help, but if I'm just giving you answers, it's not going to help you in the long run. Post your next question as a new question, but this time tell me how you think you should solve it.
okay
