can anyone help we with a center of mass problem? i have the general idea i just need help setting up the equations
find the center of mass of a thin triangular plate bounded by the y axis, y=3x+4, and y=14-2x. it has a density of p(x,y)=2x+7y+3.

do i assume it also means its bounded by the x axis?

Do you know how to integrate?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes

and i know the center of mass equations but i cant seem the get the right answers so i think im setting them up incorrectly

?
OpenStudy (amistre64):
so not assume it is bounded by the x axis if it is not stated
