Solve the equation 20 + 2b = 8 - 4b .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get b by itself on one side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

soo... 20=8-6b, then what do you do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get rid of the 8 by putting it on the other side. 12=-6b. now you have 6 of b, you need 1, so divide both sides by 6. 2=-b Get rid of the -b by multiplying both sides by -1. -2=b
