Let N = {x | x is a multiple of 2} and P ={x | is a multiple of 6}. Describe the intersection of N and P.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well... with N x is a multiple of 2 that means N = 2,4,6,8,10... etc. With P, x is a multiple of 6. so P = 6,12,18,24,30, etc... So P is a subset of N, where every number of P exists in N but not every number of N exists in P.
