The y intercept is where x = o, so plug in 0 for x and get -2y = 12 or y=-6. the y intercept is (0,-6). To find the x intercept, find the place where y = 0, plug in 0 into y in the equation, and get 5x=12, and x=12/5. the x intercept is (12/5,0)
