if a rectangular field has area of 2400 sqm and length of 60 m . how much fencing is required to cover that area? helllppppp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Area is length x width so the inverted is area/length=width. In this case our equation is 2400/60=??? that will be our width. Once we have the length and width we know how much we'll need cuz it makes up the area.

width=40 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, is this multiple choice? If so post the choices.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the length of fencing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You typed it, it's in the question just look: "if a rectangular field has area of 2400 sqm and length of 60 m"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am talking about perimeter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well perimeter is length plus width. So do the first equation I gave you to find the width then add it to the given length and you'll get perimeter.

thanks
