Which scenario in a cell would likely indicate glycolysis is taking place? Ethyl alcohol is being broken down. Pyruvate molecules are being generated. Lactic acid is combining with carbon dioxide. Large amounts of ATP are being produced. Oxygen is being released out of the cell.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

soo which one do you think is correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm deciding.. (:

OpenStudy (aaronq):

haha ok .. *tumbleweed rolls by*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, there are 4 atp produced in total, but two are used up in the steps.. so I doubr it's large amounts of ATP being produced. Would it be the second one, because glycolysis is the process where one glucose molecule breaks down to form two molecules of pyruvic acid? ..I think xD

OpenStudy (aaronq):

haha yep !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awesome...! This is awesome!

OpenStudy (aaronq):

Ima fan you

Made my day >:D I feel really good about my test right now. I only have a few more questions on my review, you're awesome. Thank you.. like so much!

OpenStudy (aaronq):
