A diagram of the light-dependent reactions in photosynthesis includes several components. Which component is correct? reaction centers after both photosystems water split apart after photosystem I only ATP used at the start of both photosystems an electron transport chain between the photosystems photosystem I shown on left, followed by photosystem II on right
I'm not too knowledgeable on photosystems, I know the diagram I looked at had the second photosystem first, and the first one second..
I believe they had an electron transport chain between them
reaction centers after both photosystems.. water split apart after photosystem I only.. water is split apart where? ATP used at the start of both photosystems .. tap is not used in photosynthesis an electron transport chain between the photosystems.. photosystem I shown on left, followed by photosystem II on right.. nope
tap= atp .. damn autocorrect
Hmph, between reaction centers and an electron transport chain..? I know there's a transport chain between II and I but, I don't recall two reaction centers.
Or wait.. I think there actually is two reaction centers, they're at the 'heart' of each photosystem
i was narrowing down options to help, but it seems like I'm confusing you.. but you're totally right
I think.
etc is in between them
I was right..woah! No no, you narrowing it down helped. I was typing to figure it out, by memory at the very least. I don't have my book, just my paper. Which one has the reaction center, even if the question isn't on my review :3
I'm sure PII has a reaction centre, but i actually think they both do, because both systems are able to excite electrons and reduce other molecules.. but again only PII splits water and uses those electrons..
i looked it up, they both do..
They do? o.o Evil multiple choice question..
Thats what I call them at least.
hahah they are evil. trying to trick us
maybe the trick is in the wording? like AFTER each photosystem
You're right! Wording... They're in the 'heart' of them, at least I was taught.. if I recall right. Woah.. I would have never looked at it like that!
