x^2+y^2-2x-2y-47=0 x^2-2x+y^2-2y=47 (x^2-2x+1)+(y^2-2y-1)=47+1+1 (x-1)^2+(y-1)^2=7^2 --> standard form (x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2 therefore it's centered at (h,k)=(1,1), with radius r=7

so is this how the circle should look like
