Trying to get help from any of you is like pulling teeth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What you need?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

help in AP history.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok well any questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it's not. If you were pulling teeth, e.g. a dentist, then YOU would be helping OTHERS. In this case, you're wanting help from other people. It's the other way around.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha thats true :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was a figure of speech. But you're correct, if I was a dentist, I wouldn't be on here reading smartass comments from people like yourself.

You may still have it backwards. If you had a better sense of what's owed you, and what's not, and at what point you need to take responsibility for your own work, you'd have a better chance of becoming a dentist. There are very few careers in which a sense of entitlement is an asset.

one can only do so much, everyone needs help at one point or another. if I wasn't taking responsibility for my work, I wouldn't be trying to get help on it, I'd simply just guess and not care whether I did well or not.
