Which is the equation for the line perpendicular to y = –x + 11 and containing P(–2, 3)? (1 point)y – 2 = –(x – 3) y = –x+ 4 y = –x + 4 y = x + 4

OpenStudy (amriju):

u have two methods...one is the oversmart method...and the other the logical one

OpenStudy (amriju):

slope of reqd line is 1..(m*m1=-1 if m, m1 be the slopes of two mutually perp lines remember..?)

OpenStudy (amriju):

now having the slope and a point u can use slope=y-3/x+2...thats logical..or u can look at the options with slope 1..and the point....thats being oversmart
