You just need to "collect" the terms that are similar.... like get all the "b" terms added/subtracted, then all the "c" terms, and then all the number terms.

If you have a hard time seeing it, try rearranging the expression to put all similar terms next to each other.

Original: 8b +2c + 3 -4b - 5c
Rearranged: 8b -4b +2c -5c + 3
