It's what best fit the options. The effect or impact of the economic bubble was the Great Depression that faced Europe and much of the world in the 1930's, and Japan in the 1990's.

#just noticed your attachments. That explained things better. The North Atlantic treaty was signed in 1945 to stop the 2nd world war. Germany faced galloping inflation which affected the whole of Europe, and had a wild effect on the world's economy, resulting in "The Great Depression".
