how do you get a score >70 on OS if x is the number of hours you spend on maths asking qusetions, and y on giving solutions per week. you spent twice as many hours on asking than solutions, atleast 10 medals for every solution while 5 for asking per week. solutions are at most 15 medals medals are equivalent to scores.
try to help as many as people as you can and make sure to be rewarded.
thats great how long should 1 be on OS to get >70
how many days
\[S=2x+y\]
S is the score
Well, actually very few people care to award you a medal even if you have helped them.
maybe you can ask, thats sounds desperate
I think OS uses a different formula than that.
Quite contrary to the popular belief, Good Guy Greg does the exact opposite on OS..lol
If you want to get an estimate based on statistical averages, you can go to many users' profiles and make note of their score, how long they've been on OS, the number of questions asked, answered, medal counts, etc. and try to work out an empirical formula.
yes i did that its big numbers
they really stayed here for some time, fans arealso high
Yep. You can simplify by only considering a couple numbers at a time and looking for correlations. Might be a fun project to work on statistics an model-fitting.
thanks i will try that on my holiday, now i have to do my real project from school
