You are correct: to solve for x, divide 8 by 2/3. What are you still confused about?
Divide both sides by 2/3, to be exactly. Your objective is to isolate x and we know that 2/3 is with x and we don't want this. We have to "move" this fraction to the other side by divide both sides by the fraction itself. Does this make sense?
