The function given by f(x) =0.5sin2x has an amplitude that is twice the function of g(x) =sin x

haha, sorry, it was a true or false question...
how do i justify it though?
amplitude twice of sinx = 2 sin x
amp of f is 0,5 amp of g is 1 so 1=2(0,5)
