Classify the following as an example of a nominal, ordinal, interval, or ratio level of measurement, and state why it represents this level: eye color of family members

Eye color is an example of a type of measurement in which the name of the measurement is really the only thing that is recorded. That makes it "nominal" -- nominal means name, more or less. Here's a site with some good examples of different types of measurements: http://infinity.cos.edu/faculty/woodbury/stats/tutorial/Data_Levels.htm Good luck!
