How do we define equatorial type of climate?

This is usually differentiated because this part of the world is equatorial and so gets the most direct sunlight (what do you think this means for temperature?). As it is in the equatorial region what do you think it reflects about seasons? An equatorial climate is a type of tropical climate in which there is no dry season and all months have mean precipitation values of at least 60mm
