OpenStudy (anonymous):

(a+2)(a+2)(a+2) can you do it now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x + y)^3 = x^3 + 3(x^2)y + 3x(y^2) + y^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i am veiwing to get answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not to give answers on here...we guide you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a^3+6a^3+6a thats what i have

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a+a+a= a^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x2x2=6a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

am i going in the right direction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a+a+a = 3a a*a*a=a^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is not 6a?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(a+2)(a+2) i'd FOIL this to get: (a^2 + 4a + 4) any question on that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 8a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i multiplied 2x2x2 wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just use the binomial expansion formula I wrote out. Substitute and simplify and then you're done.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope because i was given a different example by my teacher and not too many ppl understood her example... yours look easier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@yellowsky7 idk who you are addressing

OpenStudy (anonymous):
