the question and choices got one problem.. because here lung cytoplasm has little effect in oxygen diffusion (even though the most process is via these cells), the process is mediated mainly by RBC-haemoglobin and plasma of blood circulatory system running through the capillaries. It is better use the term partial pressure of oxygen or carbon dioxide
