OpenStudy (waheguru):

I need to find the ratio of SA:V the surface area = 1.5 Volume = 0.125 Why would the ratio be 12:1 as opposed to 1:12

OpenStudy (aripotta):

omg i love spider-man

OpenStudy (aripotta):

because SA went first in the ratio SA:V

OpenStudy (aripotta):

so you'd have to keep it in the same order

OpenStudy (waheguru):

What does that show, for every 12 surface areas there is 2 volume?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it just means the surface area is twelve times the volume

OpenStudy (waheguru):

Ooh

OpenStudy (waheguru):

So for 3:1 the surface area is 3x bigger right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (waheguru):

thanks
