Choose the correct description of the graph of the compound inequality x - 1 /= 24 A number line with an open circle on 10, shading to the left, and an open circle on 12, shading to the right. A number line with a closed circle on 10, shading to the left, and a closed circle on 12, shading to the right. A number line with an open circle on 10, an open circle on 12, and shading in between. A number line with a closed circle on 10, a closed circle on 12, and shading in between.

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

try drawing it yourself, lets see what you get..

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

Just by looking at it, you know that both circles have to be filled in.. right?

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

yea so its between B and D right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

after you know that, you can simplify each one individually, find the spot where each circle goes, and plug in a value into one of them to see if that value works. If it does shade in the direction of the value, if not shade in the other direction. Repeat for the other inequality by finding the value and shading

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

right, you just have to figure out which way it is shaded
