that is component form. The amount from tail to tip on the horizontal is written with i, and that is added to the amount from tail to tip on the vertical written with j
knowing this, what do you think the answer is

so its 6 and 3 but in what order?
it doesnt matter right. 3 + 2 = 5 and 2 + 3 = 5. if you label it correctly with i and j you can write it anyway you want
but these are the answer choices.... a. <-3,-6> b. <6,3> c. <3,6> d. <-6,-3>
hmm, ok always write i first. You can remember this by just thinking alphabetically or x before y. 3i + 6j is equal to <3,6>
i would have did j first lol and got it wrong!
